Josephine Chiang is a Taiwanese-American film & television actor currently based in NYC. Rooting from their ever-evolving relationship with their queerness, upbringing, and exhausting desire to continually fall in love, Josephine brings to life tenacious and vulnerable characters across their work. They have starred in leading roles across many short and feature films that have gone on to screen at Palm Springs ShortFest, Aspen ShortsFest, Frameline, NewFest, Nashville Film Festival, San Diego Asian Film Festival, Nitehawk and more. 

Beyond acting, Josephine is passionate about nurturing the film community in NYC. They are helping to establish the first ever shorts-only theater in Brooklyn, set to open to the public Fall 2026. In the fall of 2025, Josephine launched Film Acting & Directing Workshops to offer actors and directors no-cost opportunities to put their skills into practice, and will continue to grow this program as an accessible platform for learning and collaborating with new artists. They also work as a Casting Associate under Kate Antognini on A24 feature films and TV series.
